  1. Back in Great wildlands sometimes it was a titan that spawned. You fly your VNI or procurer in belt and suddenly there is this monstrosity. One time we had to form to save a rorq on a moon (athanor was not anti-cap fit), but we were noobs and didn't have anything to kill it with. So we did everything to keep the rorq alive till we hauled anti-cap fits for athanor, was a drama for some hour.

  2. I'm currently part of PAPI (Fraternity) and have been living in nullsec since 2019. FRT is in Oasa/perrigen falls at the moment which is the region called the dronelands. The dronelands version of the Haven is called a Drone Horde, and when I've ran them there's very rarely a capital ship spawn which in this case is a Drone Thanatos (Gallente Carrier) called the Infested Carrier. It has a capital neut like the other capital ship spawns and hits very hard. I've tried fighting it in my ratting carrier once and my 3 light fighter squadrons couldn't break it's tank even with a full drone damage/ dps build.

A super can kill it on it's own as well as a dread in siege, but if you aren't in a supercarrier then sometimes you need more than one capital ship as help. I once was mining at my corp's Athanor for moon goo and an infested carrier spawned there; my procurer died in 2 hits.

  3. shame I don´t have any kind of SP to or isk to fly something that can fight a dread but man I would love to fight one I mean I played eve on and off for 14 years but I never faught a dread or cap or super cap.

Yes yes I know 14 years and you can´t fly a super cap well that´s what you get when you sell or delete charters…….

  4. You can also take them in fairly well built marauders.

Some info in the event that you run into one of these.
This will be somewhat generalized for any dread spawn.
    They all scram, and neut
They do damage, a lot of damage.
Regular spawns push about 10k raw and have a 6 second rate of fire. If you get a rare spawn – True sansha, shadow serpentis, etc.- that number is ~13,000 raw every six seconds
Their tanks are actually comparatively weak, with between 110,000 and 150,000 hp for shields and armor each and 27-29% resist in their hole then another 150-200k structure with 0% resists.
They will rep roughly 1500-2000 ehp per second
Their neut is a big hit, but not as serious as you might initially think. 400GJ every 30 seconds on most, 600 every 30 for sansha, and 600 every 20s for blood raiders. Blood raiders are the only one I take seriously on the neut. If you are running cap batteries their cap warfare resists are strong here as well.
They have small capacitors. only 4300 gj, with dreadnaught recharge time, if you can take the pounding for a bit, they do become fairly weak. The exception to this are the blood raiders, I think they use cap vamps rather than neuts, and it can get ugly.
Their scram and neut only stretches 40-60km and if you can push 2500+ dps from outside that range you will be fine, honestly you can probably do it with less, if you can just hammer at them until its cap runs dry.
Once again you can kill these with marauders, but the risk is real, if you do not think about what you are doing or make a major mistake you can lose a very expensive ship, pop drugs, strong mindflood is my go to here. Also waste the support fleet as fast as possible, 8 BCs and 8 BBs adds up to a large amount of DPS and can put a strain on you, and you will pop those 16 ships faster than the one dread. If you are not confident in your torp Golem/pulse paladin life, then I recommend using an anti-cap dreadnaught as your marauder suitcase.

  5. Important Notice:
NPC titans may spawn in Sanctums, they deal a massive amount of damage. Very tricky to do solo.

    Bounty Info:
    Sansha Dreadnought (Hard) – 60m
